Watertown Assessment Workshop, February 16 & 23

Date: February 16 & February 23, 2019

Time: 8:00 am

  • Get the tools and time to write a quality, vetted assessment you can use in your classroom.
  • Earn a graduate credit (through USF–pending) or 15 CEU hours.
  • Create an assessment blueprint, learn to write quality test items with fidelity, learn how to create balanced rubrics aligned to standards.
  • Two, 6-hour day sessions with one hour lunch break, plus 3 hours for assignment work in between sessions = 15 hours
  • February 16 and 23 from 8 AM – 3 PM
  • Assignments–Two finished assessments, complete with teacher-created assessment blueprint and accompanying, teacher-created assessment.
  • Finished product may be a criterion-referenced assessment or a rubric. All assessments will follow steps 1-5 in the diagram below.
  • All work due by March 8. 2019.
